Christa Riggins

Christa Riggins is an employment lawyer in Pasadena and the founder of Riggins Law. She exclusively represents employees in cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination throughout Los Angeles and Southern California. Every case is handled by Christa personally, from the initial consultation through trial.

Before opening her law firm, Christa worked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, first as a law clerk and later as a volunteer attorney, where she second-chaired her first jury trial. She then worked as a wrongful termination lawyer at a boutique employment law firm, where she focused her practice on pregnancy and disability discrimination and violations of federal and state leave laws.

Christa has resolved numerous employment matters through settlement, arbitration, and trial. Most are subject to confidentiality provisions that prohibit her from sharing the amount of the settlement or the facts of the case. Christa was competitive long before she began law school or opened her own practice. As an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame, Christa was a scholarship athlete on the varsity swim team, where she held multiple school and conference records, was named MVP, served as captain of her team, and competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials.
