Christa Riggins is an employment lawyer serving Southern California, and the founder of Riggins Law. Christa has committed her practice to help employees enforce their rights in the workplace and has successfully litigated numerous employment disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Christa’s success has resulted in millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for her clients.

Before opening her law firm, Christa worked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and then as a wrongful termination lawyer at a boutique employment law firm. There, Christa focused her practice on pregnancy and disability discrimination and violations of federal and state leave laws.

Christa was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine for eight consecutive years, 2017 – 2024, and was selected as a Super Lawyer in 2026. She received the Client’s Choice Award by Avvo in 2019 and holds Avvo’s 10.0 rating. TopVerdict.com recognized her as obtaining the #1 Pregnancy Discrimination Jury Verdict in Los Angeles County in 2023. In addition, she is an active member of the legal community and several employee rights organizations, including the California Employment Lawyers Association, where she served as a committee chair.

Christa received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and her B.A. in Business from the University of Notre Dame. As an undergraduate student, Christa was a scholarship athlete on the varsity swim team. During her athletic career, Christa held multiple school and conference records, served as captain of her team, and competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials.

Christa is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California. She serves employees as a wrongful termination lawyer in Pasadena and Greater Los Angeles.
